Group and Individual Programs

Friends of Mexico's individual and group programs are designed to place young people in a foreign mission field to reach the lost for Christ. The programs provide "on the job training" for youth and adults interested in mission work. They give a clear concept and first-hand experience through personal exposure in the field under the direction and supervision of missionary staff.

Who Can Participate?

Those who are sure of their salvation and support their beliefs through scripture. Everyone from junior high to adults are able to participate.

Opportunities

PUPPETS

Vacation Bible School (VBS), singing, teaching, gospel film presentation, door to door literature distribution, physical labor, prison service and medical missions.

Period of Service for Individuals

• Junior Missionary Service--2 weeks
• Short-term Missionary--10 weeks during the Summer
• Music Teachers--6 months or longer
• Bible Teachers--Flexible (ex. 3 days - 1 week - 1 month)
• Boarding Parents--1 year or longer

Group Service Periods

• 1 to 3 weeks

Cost* (includes lodging, meals and travel within Mexico)

• Registration Fee: $35.00
• Junior Missionary: $40.00 per day
• Short-term Missionary: $900.00 per month (includes meals, lodging and travel within Galeana area)

*cost may vary depending upon area of service, length of stay and other agreed upon terms.

Facilities

BOY'S AND GIRL'S DORM

Friends of Mexico's Facilities include a chapel, dining hall, boys and girls dormitories, and shower & restroom facilities.
Friends of Mexico can accommodate groups from 4 to 100 people.
